Practice Clients are self-directed bookkeeping simulations that provide structure and objectives but do not tell the bookkeeper every software click or every decision to make. The private QBO Dojo community provides peer discussion and does not constitute individualized bookkeeping coaching or professional advice. QBO Dojo is not a school, tutoring service, or step-by-step bookkeeping training program. Bookkeepers are expected to investigate, make decisions, and perform work using their own knowledge, professional judgment, and outside resources.

For users who enroll in an available Live Client Simulation offering, QBO Dojo acts as the simulated business or client. Responses supply scenario facts or simulated-client information; they are not teaching, coaching, or instructions for how to complete the bookkeeping.

2. Simulated U.S.-Based Scenarios

Businesses, people, accounts, transactions, statements, records, communications, and circumstances presented by QBO Dojo are simulated. Any resemblance to an actual person or business is coincidental unless expressly stated otherwise.

Scenarios, terminology, accounting conventions, tax references, and business practices are designed for U.S. businesses and U.S. accounting environments. International customers are responsible for determining whether the materials are suitable for their location.

3. No Professional Advice

QBO Dojo Content and communications do not constitute individualized bookkeeping, accounting, tax, legal, investment, employment, financial, or business advice. They do not create an accountant-client, bookkeeper-client, attorney-client, tax-professional-client, fiduciary, employment, or agency relationship.

Users are responsible for seeking qualified professional advice before acting for a real business or client.

4. Practice Review

The Practice Review reflects the intended bookkeeping and accounting outcome for the applicable controlled QBO Dojo Practice Client. It is a self-directed reference and comparison resource. Users may consult it at any point during their work. It provides the reference outcome for the controlled scenario, but it is not guidance for a real-world client whose facts, jurisdiction, entity type, or applicable standards may differ. It is specific to that simulation and should not be treated as accounting, tax, legal, financial, or professional advice for an actual client or business. The Practice Review is not step-by-step software instruction, individualized bookkeeping coaching, or universally applicable accounting guidance.

5. Automated and AI-Assisted Feedback

For users who participate in an available Live Client Simulation offering, rules-based systems and artificial intelligence may help generate scenario responses or feedback. Automated output may be incomplete, inaccurate, or context-dependent. It is informational and should be evaluated using professional judgment. QBO Dojo does not provide individualized bookkeeping coaching or staff review of learner work through support. Technical, billing, access, and product support remain available through the normal support channel.

6. Credentials and Scope

Completion of standalone QBO Dojo Practice Clients does not produce a credential, certificate, score, badge, professional designation, certification, or license. Standalone Practice Client belt levels (White Belt, Orange Belt, Black Belt) describe bookkeeping difficulty, not an earned credential.

QBO Dojo LLC issues Applied Bookkeeping Belt credentials (Applied Bookkeeping White Belt, Applied Bookkeeping Orange Belt, Applied Bookkeeping Black Belt) to learners who meet the applicable assessment standard in Live Client Simulation. These credentials reflect demonstrated bookkeeping performance within the applicable QBO Dojo simulated-client environment. They are not professional or governmental licensure, not an Intuit or QuickBooks certification, and do not guarantee employment, client suitability, or future performance. QBO Dojo does not guarantee employment, promotion, clients, income, competence, business performance, or successful handling of a real engagement.

7. Third-Party Software

QBO Dojo does not control QuickBooks Online or other third-party technology. Interfaces, features, imports, prices, availability, and compatibility may change without notice. Standalone customers must obtain their own compatible software access. For Live Client Simulation, active access to the QuickBooks Online company is temporary and ends with the active engagement; where a learner completes the initial 90-day engagement with all required payments made, possible continued accountant read-only access depends on Intuit’s then-current policies and is not guaranteed.
