This Privacy Policy explains how Apogee Partners, LLC, doing business as QBO Dojo ("QBO Dojo," "we," "us," or "our"), collects, uses, discloses, retains, and protects Personal Information.

1. Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to Apogee Partners, LLC, doing business as QBO Dojo, and to Personal Information collected through qbodojo.com, customer accounts, purchases, subscriptions, the live simulation, affiliate program, support, marketing, and related Services.

"Personal Information" means information that identifies, relates to, describes, or can reasonably be linked with an individual or household. This Policy does not apply to third-party services that QBO Dojo does not control.

2. Information You Provide

  • Identity and contact information, such as name, email address, telephone number, mailing or billing address, country, and account username;
  • Account information, authentication records, preferences, and communication choices;
  • Purchase, subscription, billing, transaction, refund, chargeback, and license records;
  • Support requests, emails, text messages, survey responses, reviews, and other communications;
  • Affiliate applications, referral activity, PayPal information, tax documentation, payment history, and program communications;
  • Simulation questions, entries, reports, audit logs, progress, performance information, feedback, and exported-work requests; and
  • Any other information you voluntarily submit.

Do not submit actual client, employer, banking, tax, payroll, health, or other confidential information to QBO Dojo or the simulation.

3. Payment Information

Customer payments are processed through GoHighLevel Payments connected to Stripe. QBO Dojo does not ordinarily receive or store complete payment-card numbers. We may receive the customer's name, billing information, payment-method type, last four digits, transaction amount, payment status, subscription status, and refund or dispute information.

Affiliate payouts are made through PayPal. PayPal may collect identity, account, tax, and financial information under its own privacy policy.

4. Information Collected Automatically

  • IP address, approximate location, browser, device, operating system, language, and identifiers;
  • Pages viewed, referring and exit pages, links clicked, visit dates, times, and duration;
  • Cookie, pixel, advertising, and analytics identifiers;
  • Website, account, delivery, and simulation activity; and
  • Diagnostic, performance, fraud-prevention, and security information.

We may collect this information through cookies, pixels, tags, server logs, Google Analytics, Google Ads conversion and remarketing tools, Meta Pixel, GoHighLevel, embedded content, and similar technologies.

5. Simulation Monitoring and Feedback

QBO Dojo administrators and authorized service providers may access transactions, entries, reports, audit logs, questions, progress, communications, and other activity inside an individual QuickBooks simulation company to provide, secure, monitor, support, and evaluate the simulation.

Rules-based automation and artificial intelligence may be used to analyze activity, respond as the simulated business, identify patterns, and generate feedback. Automated feedback is informational. Subscribers may request human review or clarification through support@qbodojo.com.

We may use deidentified simulation activity, common mistakes, questions, performance patterns, and deidentified excerpts from written or recorded interactions to improve scenarios, staff procedures, rules, and automated feedback.

6. Recordings

QBO Dojo may record support calls, simulation conversations, or screen-sharing sessions for support, quality, security, documentation, and service improvement. We will provide notice and obtain consent when required by applicable law. When reasonably available, a person who declines a required recording consent may request an unrecorded or written support alternative.

7. How We Use Personal Information

  • Create, authenticate, secure, and administer accounts;
  • Process purchases, subscriptions, renewals, cancellations, taxes, and payments;
  • Deliver products and provide simulation access;
  • Maintain purchase, download, license, subscription, and affiliate records;
  • Provide support, scenario responses, monitoring, and feedback;
  • Send transactional notices, access instructions, renewal reminders, and policy notices;
  • Send marketing email or text messages only after separate affirmative consent;
  • Measure traffic, advertising, referrals, and Website performance;
  • Personalize, develop, test, secure, and improve the Services;
  • Prevent fraud, account sharing, abuse, infringement, and security incidents;
  • Administer and pay the affiliate program;
  • Enforce agreements and protect legal rights; and
  • Comply with accounting, tax, legal, and regulatory obligations.

8. Legal Bases Where Required

Where applicable law requires a legal basis, QBO Dojo may process Personal Information to perform a contract, comply with law, pursue legitimate interests in operating and securing the Services, protect rights and safety, or act with consent. Consent may be withdrawn prospectively where processing depends on consent.

9. How We Disclose Information

We may disclose Personal Information to service providers that support hosting, account administration, authentication, payment processing, subscription management, digital delivery, QuickBooks simulation access, communications, customer support, analytics, advertising, affiliate tracking, security, data storage, professional services, and legal compliance.

Relevant providers may include GoHighLevel, Stripe, Intuit, QuickBooks Online, Google, Meta, PayPal, hosting providers, communication platforms, embedded-content providers, and professional advisers. Each provider may process information under its own terms and privacy policy.

To create an individual QuickBooks simulation company, QBO Dojo submits or uses the subscriber's name and email address through Intuit's system.

We may also disclose information when required by law, to investigate fraud or security incidents, to protect rights or safety, or as part of a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale of assets.

10. Advertising, Sale, and Sharing

QBO Dojo does not sell Personal Information for money. Google Ads, Meta Pixel, and similar advertising technologies may receive identifiers and internet or electronic-network activity to measure advertising, create audiences, or provide targeted advertising.

Certain laws may classify those disclosures as a "sale," "sharing," or targeted advertising even when no money is exchanged. Where applicable, you may opt out through the Website's cookie-preference controls, a recognized opt-out signal such as Global Privacy Control, or a request to support@qbodojo.com.

11. Marketing Communications

Purchase alone does not enroll a customer in marketing. QBO Dojo sends marketing email and text messages only after separate affirmative consent. Consent to marketing is not a condition of purchase.

You may unsubscribe from email through the message's unsubscribe link. You may opt out of text messages by replying STOP or following the stated instructions. Message and data rates may apply. Opting out of marketing does not stop necessary transactional, security, support, or account communications.

12. Public Reviews and Testimonials

QBO Dojo may quote or display a review that a customer voluntarily posts publicly. Private feedback, support communications, names, photographs, or other identifying material will not be used as a testimonial unless the customer authorizes that use.

13. Cookies and Embedded Content

QBO Dojo and its providers use essential, functional, analytics, advertising, affiliate, and embedded-content technologies. Nonessential technologies and third-party embedded content will be blocked until consent where applicable law requires it. See the Cookie Policy and the Website's live cookie-preference center for more information.

14. Retention

QBO Dojo may retain transaction, tax, payment, license, affiliate-payment, and dispute records for up to seven years after account closure or longer when required by law or a pending claim. Other account information is deleted or deidentified when no longer reasonably needed for the purposes described in this Policy.

Access to an individual QuickBooks simulation company ends when the subscription ends, and the company may be deleted immediately without recovery. Limited information may persist temporarily in routine backups or system logs until overwritten according to ordinary retention cycles.

Deidentified information may be retained for analytics, product development, security, and service improvement when it cannot reasonably be used to identify the individual.

15. International Transfers

QBO Dojo is operated from the United States. Information may be processed in the United States or other countries where service providers operate. Where required, QBO Dojo will use an appropriate transfer mechanism or safeguard.

16. Information Security

QBO Dojo uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards intended to protect Personal Information. No website, network, transmission, or storage system is completely secure, and QBO Dojo cannot guarantee absolute security.

You are responsible for protecting your credentials and devices. Contact support@qbodojo.com promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.

17. Children

The Services are intended for adults. Users must be at least 18 years old. QBO Dojo does not knowingly collect Personal Information from children under 13 or knowingly permit minors to create accounts or make purchases. Contact support@qbodojo.com if you believe a child submitted information.

18. Privacy Rights

Depending on location and subject to legal exceptions, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or obtain a portable copy of Personal Information; withdraw consent; opt out of targeted advertising, sale, or sharing; appeal a decision; and receive equal service without unlawful discrimination.

Submit requests to support@qbodojo.com. Describe the request and provide enough information to locate the records. QBO Dojo may verify identity and authority before responding. An authorized agent may act where permitted by law, subject to verification.

19. United States State Disclosures

During the preceding 12 months, QBO Dojo may have collected identifiers; customer-record information; commercial information; internet or electronic-network activity; approximate geolocation; professional information; communications; simulation activity; and inferences drawn from purchases or Website use.

These categories may be disclosed to the service-provider categories described above for the business purposes in this Policy. Advertising-related disclosures may constitute sale, sharing, or targeted advertising under certain state laws. QBO Dojo does not knowingly sell or share Personal Information of anyone under 18.

20. European and United Kingdom Rights

Where applicable, individuals in the European Economic Area or United Kingdom may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or objection; withdraw consent; and complain to an appropriate supervisory authority. QBO Dojo may continue processing when another lawful basis applies.

21. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control

Because traditional Do Not Track signals do not have a universally accepted standard, the Website may not respond to them. Where required by applicable law and technically supported, QBO Dojo will treat a recognized opt-out preference signal such as Global Privacy Control as an opt-out request for the browser or device sending it.

22. Changes to This Policy

QBO Dojo may update this Policy. Active customers will receive at least 30 days' notice before a material change takes effect, except when an immediate change is reasonably necessary for law, security, abuse prevention, or an urgent operational issue. If required, QBO Dojo will obtain consent before using previously collected information for a materially different purpose.
