Terms of Service.

These Terms and Conditions and Digital Product License ("Terms") govern access to qbodojo.com and all QBO Dojo products, subscriptions, simulations, downloads, and related services.

1. Agreement to These Terms

These Terms and Conditions and Digital Product License ("Terms") are a legally binding agreement between you ("you" or "User") and Apogee Partners, LLC, doing business as QBO Dojo ("QBO Dojo," "we," "us," or "our"). They govern your access to qbodojo.com (the "Website") and all products, subscriptions, live simulations, downloads, content, and related services offered by QBO Dojo (collectively, the "Services"). By creating an account, placing an order, beginning a download, accessing a simulation, enrolling in a subscription, or otherwise using the Services, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to these Terms, the Refund and Cancellation Policy, the Privacy Policy, and any product-specific terms displayed at checkout. If you do not agree, do not purchase or use the Services. If you use the Services for a business or other entity, you represent that you are authorized to bind that entity.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering a binding contract. You must provide accurate, current, and complete information when creating an account or making a purchase.

3. QBO Dojo Offerings

QBO Dojo offers two principal types of products:

• Standalone practice files and related downloadable materials. Customers must obtain and maintain their own compatible QuickBooks Online or other required software access.
• Monthly or annual live-simulation subscriptions. QBO Dojo provides temporary access to an individual QuickBooks company configured for the subscriber's fictional simulation scenario.

Product descriptions, included materials, access periods, and current prices are shown on the applicable sales or checkout page. If product-specific terms conflict with these Terms, the product-specific terms control only for that product.

4. Accounts and Security

Accounts are issued to individual users and may not be shared. You are responsible for protecting your login credentials and for all activity conducted through your account. Notify us promptly at support@qbodojo.com if you suspect unauthorized access. We may suspend or restrict access when we reasonably believe an account has been compromised, credentials are being shared, or payment is overdue or disputed.

5. Ownership and Definition of Content

"QBO Dojo Content" includes all scenarios, fictional business information, transaction data, CSV files, statements, client communications, instructions, graphics, reports, sample completed work, comparison materials, automated feedback, review materials, downloads, website text, and other materials supplied through the Services. QBO Dojo Content is owned by or licensed to QBO Dojo and is protected by copyright, trademark, trade-secret, and other intellectual-property laws. A purchase provides a license to use Content; it does not transfer ownership.

6. Single-User License

Subject to payment and continued compliance with these Terms, QBO Dojo grants the purchaser a limited, personal, nonexclusive, nontransferable, nonsublicensable license to use purchased QBO Dojo Content for the purchaser's own individual practice and professional development. One purchase authorizes one user.

7. License Restrictions

You may not: share credentials, download links, or purchased files with another person; copy, publish, distribute, sell, rent, sublicense, assign, or transfer Content; upload Content to shared drives, public websites, or public repositories; use Content to train or sell competing products; distribute comparison materials or completed work as an answer key; or remove copyright or proprietary notices.

8. Public Excerpts, Work Samples, and AI Tools

You may use brief excerpts or screenshots for genuine commentary and may privately show completed work samples to prospective employers or clients. You may use Content with AI tools for your own personal practice, provided Content is not made publicly accessible or used to create competing products.

9. Standalone Product Delivery

Standalone products are delivered electronically. Unless stated otherwise, purchased files must be downloaded within 30 calendar days after purchase. Users are responsible for maintaining backup copies. Properly downloaded files may be retained indefinitely by the licensed purchaser.

10. Live-Simulation Subscription

The live simulation is a recurring digital service. QBO Dojo provides temporary access to an individual QuickBooks company containing a fictional U.S.-based business scenario. QBO Dojo acts as the simulated business client.

11. Simulation Data and End of Access

The simulation is exclusively for fictional QBO Dojo scenarios. Do not enter actual confidential client or personal data. When a subscription ends, simulation access ends immediately and company files may be deleted without recovery.

12. Automatic Renewal and Billing

Subscriptions renew automatically at the disclosed interval until canceled. By subscribing, you authorize QBO Dojo and its payment processor to charge the payment method on file.

13. Cancellation

You may cancel through your online account or by emailing support@qbodojo.com at least 3 business days prior to the renewal date. Cancellation stops future renewal, and access continues until the current billing cycle ends.

14. Prices, Taxes, and Payment

Prices may change for future purchases. Applicable taxes are added at checkout. Payments are processed securely via Stripe or GoHighLevel Payments.

15. International Customers

QBO Dojo materials are designed for U.S. accounting environments. International users are responsible for compliance with their local requirements.

16. Support

Standalone products include technical delivery support. Live simulations include scenario assistance. Support does not include individualized accounting, tax, legal, or financial advice.

17. Technical Requirements and Third-Party Services

Customers are responsible for acquiring required software (such as QuickBooks Online access). QBO Dojo does not control third-party platforms.

18. Availability and Service Changes

Services are provided without uptime guarantee. Maintenance and outages may affect temporary availability.

19. No Real Client Information

Do not submit real Social Security numbers, bank credentials, tax identification numbers, or confidential financial records.

20. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to use the Services unlawfully, introduce malware, reverse engineer materials, scrape data, or impersonate others.

21. Suspension and Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts for material violations of these Terms, nonpayment, or suspected security risks.

22. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

Contact support@qbodojo.com first to resolve billing discrepancies. Unfounded chargebacks may result in immediate account suspension.

23. Reference Materials and Multiple Approaches

Sample solutions demonstrate one valid bookkeeping methodology among potentially several acceptable approaches.

24. No Credential or Guarantee

Completion of QBO Dojo scenarios does not grant formal certification or guarantee employment, client acquisition, or income results.

25. Intuit and QuickBooks Disclaimer

QBO Dojo is independent and not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by Intuit Inc. QuickBooks is a registered trademark of Intuit Inc.

26. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

27. Limitation of Liability

To the max extent permitted by law, QBO Dojo's total aggregate liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific product involved or subscription fees paid in the prior 12 months.

28. Indemnification

You agree to defend and hold harmless QBO Dojo from third-party claims arising from your breach of these Terms or unauthorized distribution of Content.

29. Force Majeure

QBO Dojo is not liable for failures or delays caused by events beyond reasonable control, including internet disruptions or third-party outages.

30. Informal Dispute Resolution

Parties agree to attempt good-faith informal resolution for 30 days before initiating formal legal proceedings.

31. Governing Law and Venue

These Terms are governed by Arizona law. Exclusive venue lies in state and federal courts located in Maricopa County, Arizona.

32. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms with 30 days' notice for active customers regarding material modifications.

33. General Provisions

If any provision is found unenforceable, remaining provisions remain in full force. These Terms constitute the entire agreement.
