Marigold Lunch Kitchen
Marigold Lunch Kitchen has grown from a lunch counter into office meal programs, catered events and meeting-room orders, all billed on terms. The kitchen kept moving after its bookkeeper left; the books did not.
Your assignment is to recover a clear financial picture from the inherited file. Follow the office-meal, event and meeting-room invoices, determine how the combined receipts relate to them, and investigate the entries that do not line up. Complete the reconciliations so the busy kitchen's activity is supported by a coherent set of books.
The work you'll take on
- Distinguish office-meal programs, catered events and meeting-room orders.
- Trace combined receipts to the relevant customer invoices.
- Investigate inherited mistakes and reconcile both accounts for the quarter.
- Check your completed books against the included Practice Review.
Each monthly release features a different simulated business. Check the client name and release month before purchasing.
