Ironwood Regional Freight
Ironwood Regional Freight runs three tractors for repeat shippers, with invoice payments and weekly fuel-card settlements keeping money moving. A prior refinancing and an inherited file full of unapplied receipts make the opening position harder to trust.
Your assignment starts before the current quarter's first delivery: the earlier refinancing affects the position you inherit. Use the supplied lender and customer records to establish that position, follow shipper payments and fuel-card activity, and investigate the differences. Reconcile the quarter with a clear account of the carrier's financing and trading activity.
The work you'll take on
- Investigate the opening position using the prior-refinancing records.
- Trace repeat-shipper invoices to the unapplied customer receipts.
- Work through weekly fuel-card settlements and reconcile the quarter.
- Check your completed books against the included Practice Review.
Each monthly release features a different simulated business. Check the client name and release month before purchasing.
