Clearwater Occupational Therapy
Clearwater Occupational Therapy has kept seeing patients while the bookkeeping has fallen behind. Health plans, employers and private clients all pay on account, but the inherited file has unapplied receipts and accounts that have never been reconciled.
The assignment is to establish what the records support, not assume that the inherited file is right. Follow invoices and payments from health plans, employers and private clients, investigate the differences, and complete the reconciliations. Your finished quarter should give a clear account of money received and amounts still owed.
The work you'll take on
- Trace health-plan, employer and private-client invoices to the supplied receipts.
- Investigate and resolve unapplied receipts using the supporting records.
- Reconcile the inherited accounts and review the quarter-end customer balances.
- Check your completed books against the included Practice Review.
Each monthly release features a different simulated business. Check the client name and release month before purchasing.
